Yesterday I had sex with my boyfriend and when he pulled out after ejaculating, his penis was covered in white discharge. It didn't smell bad, and my vaginal area doesn't itch or hurt..is this normal? What exactly is that?

@ : hi, cassandra, it hard to tell what exactly is that according to your words exactly. You may experience ovulation: most women ovulate anywhere between Day 11 – Day 21 of their cycle, counting from the first day of the LMP. Or can that be your bf's sperms? If you still have some wonders or experience some discomfort, you can take a medical visit.

@ : Based on the date you've said, you may experience ovulation. The ovulation pain can be in the lower abdomen, just inside the hip bone. The pain typically occurs about two weeks before the menstrual period is due. Also if you are unsure about your ovulation date, you can do a calculation to figure out your ovulation date. If you have other associated discomfort, do consult a doctor timely.

@ : if you have missed your period, you should take a pregnancy test as soon as possible. If you have regular period then you don't have to worry about the pregnancy issue. For odor smell discharge, this may due to some infections, yet for exact diagnosis, you'd better consult a doctor.

@ : Hormonal Fluctuations commonly cause a brown color vaginal discharge. If you have recently stopped birth control, you may notice some spotting caused by hormonal changes within your body. Implantation bleeding can also be brown. As a conclusion, although brown discharge after period is a fairly common occurrence and is experienced by a lot of women, I do recommend you to take a medical visit to rule out any possible issues.

@ : hi, jane, i think your case is normal. Most women experience ovulation between their periods. Besides, it is helpful to track and calculate your ovulation when you are trying to conceive. Just don't be too stressful, and adjust your moods and body conditions. Hope you will get your cute baby soon. :-))

@ : hi, according to my researching, some pills like morning-after pills have side effects like bleeding between periods or heavier menstrual bleeding, also associate with symptoms like headaches, dizziness, breasts tenderness, etc. Yet, implantation bleeding can also fit to your case. Because some implantation bleeding can be pinkish, rather than bright red blood you have in your period. Therefore, you'd better take a home pregnancy test, usually after you miss your first period.

@ : First, if she does bear a lot pain, she is recommended to do check her conditions in a hospital, or talk with a professional doctor. Secondly, the vagina is not supposed to frequently touched and entered by figures, for this action may introduce bacteria or something like that into the vagina.

@ : hi, if you have some kind of fishy whitish discharge, then it usually a sign of bacterial vaginosis which is caused by an imbalance of pH resulting in an overgrowth of certain vaginal bacteria. But, if the condition don't cause too much discomfort, please just do not cleaning inside of your vagina. Because the vagina owns the function of self-cleaning. If you use soap inside your vagina, that may disrupt the healthy balance of natural bacteria that are supposed to live in your vagina. As for the pregnant issue, you can track your ovulation and adjust your body to be ready for conceiving a baby, wish you have a good result. :-)
